Our client is looking for a machine shop inspector to join the team.
General duties are
* To oversee the running of the inspection department and interface with production and management at all levels.
* The candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering and a machine shop and production environment.
* Ideally qualified to HNC, but experience is also desirable.
* Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
* CMM programming
* Create reports such as First Article Inspection (FAIR)
* Understanding of different measuring techniques
* Oversee calibration requirements.
* Able to work with Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
The role is on days and is paying circa 35K to 40k - Negotiable.
