Vehicle Maintenance Engineer - Days (Monday to Friday)
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician / Vehicle Mechanic looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting a number of Engineers to be part of an integral delivery programme for an MOD contract.

Alternatively, if you have a vehicle maintenance background and willing to become a member of the Army Reserve (through our clients sponsorship programme) then this could be the opportunity for you.
You’ll be based out of one of their Service Centres local to you and will be required to travel to other service centres in the UK when required.
What you’ll be doing;
* Involved in service and maintenance of materials handling and plant equipment in support of the MOD.
* Fault Finding, break downs, planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of equipment.
* You will ensure customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addresses
* Adhering to safety guidelines and policies set out by customers and the business
* You’ll ensure customer relationships are maintained and developed through high standards of service.
What you’ll need;
* You will need a Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and experience working on plant, MHE, powered access, HGV’s, Vehicles or related equipment experience.
* Previous military experience is advantageous but its not a necessity as full military reservist training is offered
* You’ll have a good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
* You’ll be able to work under pressure and manage and prioritise your workload
This is an excellent opportunity which offers base salary of £35,793 (subject to annual increases) plus an additional £3k bonus for maintaining Sponsored Reserve status which totals £38,793 (once reserve status is achieved). 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and overtime is also paid at 1.5 Monday to Friday and x2 at weekends. You will also receive pay enhancements when deployed on MOD assignments
