Job Description
Warehouse Manager 
Location: 8005 S 266th St #101, Kent, WA 98032
 Annual Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
The Warehouse Manager in Kent, WA, will supervise the activities of warehouse team members engaged in loading and unloading trucks and moving and storing materials/products. Assign job tasks according to shipping schedules. Train new team members on job duties to maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the warehouse. Ensure team members work safely and follow safety, hygiene, and security guidelines. Comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced environment. Follow company guidelines and operational policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
Implement cycle counting and/or annual physical inventories using inventory system reports, inventory software, and count sheets to ensure inventory accuracy
Manage team member tasks and responsibilities to receive, store, and load food products and support goods in accordance with established company standards and procedures and within budgeted guidelines and dispatch accuracy goals
Control departmental costs and prepare budget for Director review
Compile the warehouse portion of the weekly key indicator summary and other statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements
Inspect warehouse equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and in good condition
Oversee housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area
Ensure the department is continuously audited and able to maintain their standard KPI’s
Maintain positive relationships with other departments and have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. [production, warehouse, maintenance, and delivery and service
Maintain knowledge of external regulatory audit standards and procedures
Ensure that all TDR (trailer-dock-release) policies and procedures are followed
Ensure all PIT operators are adequately trained, and all SOPs are followed
Manage Warehouse and Warehouse Sanitation Team Members
 
Coach team members who are not meeting their performance goals and reward team members for good performance, complete performance appraisals on team members
Facilitate a five-minute team meeting each day to inform the team members about safety precautions, performance, policies, etc.
Recruit, interview, hire, and train all new team members in various trainings, including safety, and minimize team member turnover
Review time clock punches, edit missing punches, and approve PTO request
As needed, fills in as a warehouse team member and performs tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals (these activities do not exceed 20% of total work time)
Direct salvage of damaged or used material
Attend Leadership & Development training sessions
Verify and validate timecards and manage the working schedule
Validate and verify contracts, Validate and verify account payables
Maintain warehouse supplies for daily needs and order supplies as needed
Maintain a working relationship with COE departments, i.e., talent acquisition, finance, quality assurance, and safety
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Director
