Daily Rate: MPS - UPS
Days: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (Including Parents evenings)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2024

LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Leicester who are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to start September, for a long-term contract until July 2025.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons to up to Key stage 4
Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs including provisions with children with a variety of additional learning needs.
Creating and implementing Examination content.
Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme

Candidate Requirements:

Holds qualified teacher status (NQTs Welcome)
Is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
Has excellent classroom control and with a proven record of managing behaviour
Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
