What Are We Looking For in a Tax Senior Accountant?
We are seeking candidates who are ideally CTA qualified or part-qualified, with experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice. Whether you are newly qualified and ready to advance your career or seeking a fresh challenge, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Job Purpose of the Tax Senior Accountant.
* Support the Tax Director with tax advisory and planning.
* Mentor junior staff, review their work, and assist in their training.
* Stay updated with taxation news and regulations, and share knowledge with tax and accounts staff.
* Handle personal tax and capital gains tax compliance and advice, including the preparation, review, and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns (HNWI, sole traders, partners, landlords, etc.) and CGT 60-day reports.
* While experience with IHT, Trusts, and Corporation Tax is desirable, it is not essential.
* Manage workflow and tax deadlines, coordinating with client portfolio owners to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
* Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
