Within our dynamic and fast-paced team at allpay as a Payment Operations Manager, you will lead and develop the Payment Operations function. Our core values—collaboration, agility, curiosity, and innovation—are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Development: Lead and develop the Payment Operations team to meet the demands of a busy and fast-paced organisation.
Client Money Management: Oversee the management and reconciliation of client monies, ensuring the integrity of transactional data and safeguarding funds in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Reconciliation & Reporting: Ensure daily completion of all client money reconciliations, maintaining data accuracy, and meeting SLA and regulatory timeframes.
Issue Resolution: Investigate operational issues or reconciliation breaks, implementing remedial actions and supporting incident management with third parties as needed.
Procedure Ownership: Document and update procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with business, scheme, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Reporting: Manage internal and external reporting, including daily balances, monthly variances, and regulatory submissions to MasterCard and sponsor banks.

About The Candidate

Key Requirements for Success:

Experience: Proven experience in a similar financial services role, with knowledge of payment scheme rules and regulatory requirements.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and logical approach to problem-solving.
Proactive Approach: Positive and proactive in driving change and improving processes and procedures.
Leadership: Ability to lead and effectively manage a team.
System Management: Experience in supporting and managing financial data systems.
Attention to Detail: Methodical, organised, and consistent approach to tasks with excellent attention to detail.
Learning and Adaptability: Ability to continually learn new technologies and implement them as appropriate.
Organisational Skills: Well-organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising multiple tasks under pressure.
