Planning Validation Officer

£13+ per hour
Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Planning Validation Officer based in Telford on a contract basis.
The Job:
Answer correspondence coming into the service via phone and email, offering complex technical advice for applicants, internal and external customers.
Assess and register planning applications, managing compliance compliance, working and assessing statutory planning fee legislation and national/local requirements, assessing planning permission is required.
Manage and administrate Planning appeals and Public Inquiries, including venue bookings and compliance with health and safety standards.
Identify and address reports of priority services related to dangerous structures and planning enforcement matters.
Assist with reports, KPIs and similar.The Candidate:
NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications/experience.
Previous experience in Planning and Validation or similar roles.
Experience within a Local Authority environment is beneficial.How to Apply:
