Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor supervision, and material procurement.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure work is executed according to requirements.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor crews to maintain a productive and efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvements, and schedule optimizations.
Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
Conduct regular site meetings to review project status, address concerns, and provide updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
Experience with at least two of the following - framing, concrete, finish work supervision, and reading drawings.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, laws and regulations, techniques, and materials.
Experience running subcontractor meetings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (i.e. climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
