Branch Supervisor - Bromborough
42.5 hours per week (including every third Saturday 8am - 12pm)
We are seeking an Branch Supervisor to join this high performing, well established branch in Bromborough. Here we offer a range of decorative products, designer paints and wallcoverings and sundry items for the decorative market – both trade and retail.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will help manage and motivate the team to achieve branch and company objectives. Predominantly you will be managing the trade counter, delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, you will deal with customer queries in a prompt and effective manner, consistently meeting customer requirements. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, merchandisers and other partners and help organise events and initiatives to promote good relations and sales development.
A driving licence is essential as you may be required to pop out to local customers in our van to delivery products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising the team and store
* Offering advice on products to customers
* Mixing paints for customers
* Serving trade and retail customers
* Helping unload deliveries
* Ordering stock via a computerised system
* Restocking shelves
* Serving customers using a computerised till
* Upselling and supporting sales growth of the branch
We’re looking for an individual who has a strong customer focus and previous supervisory/team leader experience.
Knowledge of decorative products is not essential as full product training will be provided - what's important is an outgoing and friendly personality with great customer service skills. Candidates must hold a full driving licence.
