Permit Lead

My client, based nationally, are looking for a Technical Permit Lead to join their ever- expanding team in Reading, Berkshire
Role overview:
Ensure the delivery of effective Permit (ETOWSA) control across Mechanical, Electrical Infrastructure and Fabric maintenance/inspections within contract. Review and Audit compliance within the contract deliverables and KPIs ensuring that The Company are compliant in respect of Permit to Work Legislation
What you’ll do:
* To lead and develop the maintenance team through communication, training, and development, to ensure compliance
* Oversee and manage the Permit Process to support the progress of the planned maintenance and remedial works
* To lead the account interactions with the ETWOSA process and be the central support and Centre of Excellence for all stakeholders.
* To review and audit works across the account to ensure they are completed to the satisfaction of the customer, regulatory authorities and meet the contract KPI’s.
* Working with key stakeholders across the account to monitor maintenance performance and to ensure H&S is adhered to/
* Effective use of CAFM, EMMA, AMT.
* Ensure all PPM, reactive and extra works are completed in line with contract SLAs, KPIs and any other requirements
* Oversee the management of all logbooks
* To Manage the Permit Admin Team
* Management of the Managed Fund and Quoted Work processes.
* To complete relevant reports as directed by the Senior Account Management Team.
Candidate Profile
* Technically qualified, minimum HNC/HND, in appropriate engineering discipline.
* Thorough technical knowledge, plus relevant working experience of asset management, delivery and maintenance of all building services including critical services.
* Experience working in controlled and critical environments.
* NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards.
* An experienced operational and maintenance leader
* Proven track record in managing diverse engineering and operational teams.
* Good working knowledge of SFG20.
* CAFM management experience.
* Demonstrable Electrical/Mechanical AP Status either current or recent.
* Excellent Technical Report writing skills.
* Extensive FM industry experience is essential.
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
