Position: Events Assistant

Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 plus benefits

Hybrid set up: 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home / anywhere.

2 Year (minimum) Fixed Term Contract

Key responsibilities:

As the Events Assistant you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Northern Ireland Regional Office where you will be providing dedicated administrative, database management and accounting support to the regional office.
You will be supporting regional fundraising, developing volunteer fundraising and initiating and delivering regional fundraising events.
Database Management
Coordinate the general office administration and provide administrative support
Monitor the Regional Office income and expenditure, working closely with the Finance Department
Assist with briefings and events and represent the Charity at external events
Initiate and manage your own regional events where opportunities exist
Support Charity volunteers, acting as the main point of contact for new volunteersWhat background and experience are the company looking for?

Well-developed communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
Well organised, numerate, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
Literate and numerate to a high standard
Ability to be flexible with working patterns
Driving licence is essential
IT literate with understanding of social media tools is desirable
An understanding of the Charity sector is beneficial.
