About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be taken on the crucial role of helping to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare. Create an interesting yet safe environment for students. Support students with SEN such as; adhd, semh, autism and working with non-verbal children while keeping accurate records and attend review meetings with parents and senior members of staff. You will also have the opportunity to work with professionals such as speech and language therapists.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive personalised attention and care.
* Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of each student.
* Monitor and record student progress, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for further support.
* Engage in various classroom activities and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.

About You:
* You have a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to supporting young learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Adaptability and resilience, thriving in dynamic and varied school settings.
* Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications in SEN education is desirable but not essential.
