Teaching Personnel are working with a school located in Ashton in Makerfield who are looking to hire multiple SEN Teaching Assistants. The School prides itself on providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all of their students.

Their Specialist Resource Base (SRB) is dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). We are committed to ensuring every child receives the personalised care and attention they need to thrive.

Job Description:
Our client school are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with children in our Specialist Resource Base, providing individualised support to help them achieve their full potential. You will be part of a collaborative team, receiving excellent support from their SEN Coordinator (SENCO) and Assistant SENCOs.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN.
- Assist teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students to SENCO and other staff.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
