Nursery Manager

Role – Nursery Manager needed to run a private nursery with children aged 0-5, with a level 3 CACHE qualification or equivalent

Location: Cardiff

Duration / Likely Duration – Permanent

Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate - £30,000+

40 hours per week. Shifts range from 6 hours - 10 hour days (working hours between 08:00-18:00 Monday - Friday)

Are you an experienced Room Leader looking for your next step up? Maybe you are currently a Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge?

I am currently working with a new private nursery who are looking for a manager. The setting is one of the nicest nursery settings we have worked with! You will be running your own team and in charge of the setting.

You must be at least level 3 qualified and be able to work using your own initiative. You must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and Child Protection/Safeguarding procedure and enjoy working with children. You must also have strong leadership skills to ensure you get the best out of your team.

Your duties will include:

-          Leading from the front

-          Rota management

-          Supervise, motivate, and encourage all staff members to be the best they can be

-          Support the core values of the business

-          Liaising with external suppliers

What you will need:

-          Level 3 in childcare or above

-          Sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Children’s Act

-          Passion for the early years sector

-          Deputy manager/manager experience
