Our client is an established independant business with Garden centres located across the country. They currently have a vacancy for a Plant Area Manager and are looking for an ambitious candidate to fill this role in the Doncaster area.
As an ideal candidate you will have experience of leading a team and have good people management skills. You will have an understanding of plants and the horticultural seasons and be passionate about sharing your knowledge with the customers. A keen eye for detail and a flair for merchandising would be an asset in this role as you will be responsible for the layout and day to day running of the outdoor area.
Key requirements for this role;
* Demonstrate a passion for plants / horticulture, commercially aware and able to create dynamic, inspirational displays
* Be a highly motivated person with previous experience at this level and happy to take responsibility for driving the performance and maximising potential
* Have a proven experience of working in a retail / garden centre environment
* Have a can do attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
