Roles & Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic science lessons across various disciplines (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics) that engage and challenge students.
* Utilise handson experiments, demonstrations, and multimedia resources to bring scientific concepts to life and promote enquiry-based learning.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel empowered to explore scientific ideas and develop critical thinking skills.
* Assess student understanding through a variety of assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop crosscurricular connections and integrate real-world applications into the science curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience for students.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, but not mandatory
* Previous experience in education, either as a teacher or through relevant placements
* Enhanced DBS check with update service (or willingness to obtain one through Provide Education)
