Electrical Design Engineer

Our Client is one of the Yorkshire regions leading independently owned M&E Design and Build Contractors.
For over 25 years they have been providing full building services design, build and maintenance national services to a high profile customer base across the commercial, industrial and retail sectors
As an experienced principal contractor, they have built up a highly experienced team of Engineers and Technicians with the skills to handle the most demanding projects. The technical, engineering and compliance teams adopt a highly integrated approach to building services, allowing intelligent collaboration to deal with complex problems.
The business is looking to invest in the design team and seeks an Electrical Design Engineer, at either Intermediate or Senior grade, to join the pre construction division and take up an important client facing role.
Electrical services include:
Internal and external lighting
Replacement lighting or upgrades
Electric heating
Data cabling
Phone and telecommunications
Security and CCTV systems
Fire detection and prevention systems
Energy efficiency scheme rollouts
Electronic product rollouts
Uninterruptible and backup power supplies
The ideal candidates will already be working in a building services design capacity, either within consulting, contracting or a public sector estates environment. Full working knowledge of industry standard software such as Hevacomp, Amtech, Relux and AutoCAD would be required, in order to quickly hit the ground and positively impact live projects.
Located close to the M1 with excellent motorway links the office could easily be reached from West, South, East and North Yorkshire
