Year 1 Teacher

We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start in September.

This is full-time and based in a Bedford primary school.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our pupils. This position offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love of learning, support students' development, and lay the foundation for their future academic success.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with early years as a Teacher, have 6 months + experience (could be placement experience) and to have excellent understanding of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with the Year 1 curriculum.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
Implement effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of pupils.
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a holistic approach to pupil education and well-being.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1.
Excellent knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and understanding of early childhood development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity and adaptability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
