Spares Sales Representative

We are seeking a talented salesperson with excellent account management skills. This is a dedicated sales role with no cold calling involved. Our client is a leading supplier of specialist capital equipment based in Peterborough, and they are looking to add to their spares sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting within the existing customer base to help boost team revenue and dealing with inbound requests. This position is pivotal to the business, with the team contributing up to 20% of global revenue. If you have exceptional communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a proven track record of closing deals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities

Facilitate the sale of spare parts to Omega customers, consistently achieving required margins and spares sales targets.
Provide comprehensive recommended spare parts lists for both new contracts and existing equipment.
Cultivate and maintain excellent customer relationships to enhance spares sales with both existing and new customers.
Prepare and present accurate and competitive quotations to drive sales.
Proactively follow up on open quotations directly with customers to secure sales orders.
Manage the entire spares sales order process, from Purchase Order receipt to dispatch notification.
Collaborate closely with the spares logistics coordinator to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of sales orders within quoted lead times.
Regularly update and maintain accurate pricing for all spare parts.
Ensure adherence to company procedures, adapting processes as necessary for continuous improvement.
Address and resolve all departmental nonconformities promptly to maintain the integrity of the spares sales process.
Person Specification

Previous sales, account management, or aftermarket sales experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
Previous experience utilising and ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and driven.
Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits

£26,500 per annum.
Bi-Annual performance bonus (OTE £32,000+).
The role is full-time based on a 37-hour week.
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:45.
Company pension scheme after 1 years’ service.
In addition to the usual public holidays, currently 8 per annum, there is an annual leave allowance of 21 days
Ability to work from home/remote working 2 days per week
