Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our client team in Cardiff on a temporary basis. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen operations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a passion for food service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef.
Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Follow all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Help with the washing up and cleaning of kitchen utensils, pots, and pans.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
Support the kitchen team with any other duties as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
