Accountant

RM Recruit are excited to be working with a dynamic not-for-profit organisation based in Warwickshire who are on the lookout for a confident, well rounded Lead Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is able to offer a flexible, hybrid working arrangement with the office presence set at three times per week and two days working from home.

You will be working collaboratively with the Finance Manager in upgrading accounting and banking solutions throughout the organisation.

Main duties include, but not be limited to:

* Assist with the preparation of the annual budget

* Assisting with month end management accounts

* Maintenance of branch fixed asset register

* Year-end accounts processing

* Processing bank reconciliations

* Business partnering across all departments of the organisation providing financial information and add value

* Improve existing finance processes.

* Perform other finance tasks on an ad hoc basis.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience. You will possess substantial experience of working within a busy finance department. You will have a brilliant understanding of double entry bookkeeping. Candidates with experience of SAGE 50 are of high interest to our client. You will need to prioritise your time effectively and prioritise workload efficiently. Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills are highly advantageous to this client. Excellent attention to detail and ability to challenge, improve and develop processes.
