As the In-House Salesforce Product Manager / Owner (f/m/d), you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce CRM system. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related matters and will be responsible for administering the system, including user management, customization, and configuration.

You will lead the Salesforce Team at IDnow, the System Admin and the technical lead would report to you. In this position you will report to the VP Commercial Operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for the Salesforce system in alignment with the company's overall business objectives, considering the various stakeholders from Marketing Operations to Billing.
  • Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their needs and gather requirements for Salesforce system enhancements and customizations and document them in JIRA. Also would be responsible to create the meeting minutes and share it with all the attendees to have follow up on the discussions.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize feature development and enhancement requests based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability.
  • Agile Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into user stories, prioritize the backlog, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all Salesforcerelated matters, providing regular updates to stakeholders on the status of ongoing initiatives, gathering feedback, and managing expectations.
  • User Training and Adoption: Develop training materials and prepare together with the sales enablement expert user training sessions to ensure that employees understand how to effectively use the Salesforce system to support their daily activities.
  • Development Work: Act as a delegate for the Salesforce system admin or technical lead during absences, performing development work in Salesforce as needed i.e. as part of larger projects driven by the technical lead.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor the performance of the Salesforce system, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Salesforce vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring that SLAs are met and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Salesforce system and propose enhancements and optimizations to improve usability, efficiency, and overall user satisfaction.
Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Kanban, and Sprint board.
  • Proven experience (3 years) working as a Project Manager, Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a Salesforce environment.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce development In Sales cloud and Service cloud, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing Salesforce projects from conception to delivery, with a focus on driving business value and improving customer experiences.
