On flights with a weight concept, the cost of excess baggage is calculated per kilogram using standard rates. If the total weight of the pet is up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) and its total size is up to 158 cm (62 in.), the additional baggage charge for each piece on piece concept flight is doubled. For each limit up to 70 lbs/208 cm/80 in that is exceeded, an additional fee of USD 150 applies. A 4x per piece fee will apply if the combined weight of the pet and its carrier is more than 70 lbs/ 32 kg and 203 cm/80 in.
