Job Description:

The Export Advisor will play a pivotal role in facilitating the export of our products to international markets. Working closely with various departments, the incumbent will ensure compliance with international regulations, streamline export processes, and optimize logistical operations. This role demands a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of global trade practices.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Export Compliance - Ensure adherence to all export regulations, including documentation requirements, customs procedures, and trade compliance standards.

- Documentation Management - Oversee the preparation and accuracy of export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

- Logistics Coordination - Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners to arrange timely and cost-effective shipment of goods.

- Customer Support - Serve as a point of contact for international customers, providing guidance on export procedures, shipping options, and documentation requirements.

- Risk Management - Identify and mitigate potential risks related to export operations, such as transportation delays, customs issues, or regulatory changes.

- Process Improvement - Continuously evaluate and optimize export processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.

- Market Analysis - Monitor global market trends, trade regulations, New customs legislation and geopolitical developments to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on export strategies and compliance requirements.

- Manage and drive projects on all new customs legislation for export

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

- Proven experience in export operations, preferably within a manufacturing or trading environment.

- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, including Incoterms, customs procedures, and export controls.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.

- Proficiency in relevant software applications such as ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite, and trade compliance software.

- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
