Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Leicester - Hybrid
Salary: £35k - £50k+ (DOE)
Full time: 38.5 hours per week
Type: Permanent - Full-time - Hybrid
Are you a Senior Accountant looking for your next opportunity? We have an exciting opening with a leading Leicester accountancy practice, who are looking for a Qualified Accountant with a strong knowledge of both Xero and Sage to join their team, working with broad range of exciting and diverse clients.
As a Senior Accountant you will:
Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders & partnerships in a wide variety of sectors
Prepare company and personal tax returns
Prepare management accounts
Develope and maintain relationships with clients
Occasional work and visits with clients at their premise(s).
What we are looking for in a Senior Accountant:
Minimum of 3 years practice experience
ACA , ACCA or AAT Qualification is preferred
Management accounts experience
Strong working knowledge of Xero & Sage
Confidence with accounts preparation & tax software
Audit experience would be advantageous
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Commercially focused, organised and deadline driven.
