Job title: Material Resource Planning Controller
Location: Lincoln (On-Site)
Contract length: 6 months initial rolling contract
Working hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pm (Flexible)
Pay rate: £16.00 per hour
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Material Resource Planning Controller on behalf of a leading energy company.
Job purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Material Resource Planning Controller to join the established team on an initial 6-month contract basis.
Responsibilities:
* Performing all tasks directly involved in preparation for production, taking account of the order situation, production capacities, stock levels, production- and delivery backlogs, procurement situations, personnel resources, cycle times, material delivery times, in order to create the conditions for an optimum production sequence.
* Actively contributing to cooperate with all others involved and with interface partners passing on all relevant information, in order to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain.
* Expediting orders and materials requests both internally and externally
* Updating and maintaining data in SAP.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Previous experience working as a Material Scheduler, Stock Controller, Logistics Coordinator or similar
* Proficiency in SAP or MRP desirable
* Competent in MS Office Programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
* Effective communication at all levels within scope of role, with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Logical thought process to solve queries and escalations
