We are an independent fostering agency committed to delivering outstanding care and support to children in need. Currently, we are in search of a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager. Key responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the fostering team, overseeing recruitment, training, supervision, and ongoing professional development.

Case Management: Oversee the assessment and placement of children into foster homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulations.

Supervision and Support: Conduct regular supervision meetings, offering guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the team's success and individual professional growth.

Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies, social services, and relevant organizations to enhance the support network for foster children.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all fostering activities adhere to regulatory requirements, maintain accurate records, and participate in audits as needed.

Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to fostering, staying abreast of industry best practices.

Crisis Management: Handle crisis situations promptly and effectively, making informed decisions that prioritize the safety and well-being of children in foster care.

Recruitment: Recruiting both foster carers and staff to ensure the organisation is constantly growing as well as having the staff that will ensure good practice.

Requirements:

Level 4 in Social Care (degree level preferred)
Management Qualification Level 4 (preferred)
2 Year's Experience Within a Similar Role Relevant to Fostering
1 Year's Experience Managing/Supervising Professional Staff
A Track Record in a Managerial Role Within the Fostering or Social Care Sector
Excellent Leadership and Organizational Skills
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Abilities
Knowledge of Relevant Legislation and RegulationsLicence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
Social Work England
