Contract Supervisor – Covering Essex

Full Time PAYE – 40h per week

Starting Salary: £38,000 p/a + company van with a fuel card

Responsibilities of the role include:

* Day-to-day supervision of the trades staff (both DLO and subcontractor) and residents of the contract

* Scheduling rates (pricing the job) – (desirable)

* Surveying the job - Inspections of work before and after

* Liaising with the residents and customers and handling any issues or queries

* The handling of complaints via customers and your team

* Keeping accurate reports of the work in progress and the completion targets

* Completion of toolbox talks

* Regular 1-2-1’s and team reviews

* Health and safety inductions

* Being part of the recruitment process for your team

The successful candidate will have:

* A technical background and NVQ or equivalent in at least one trade

* A strong background in social housing maintenance contracts (void, planned, disrepairs)

* Good experience overseeing/supervising a team of tradespeople

* In-depth knowledge of site safety practices

* Computer literacy with good skills in Microsoft Excel

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification

* Current DBS certificate

* Full UK driving license
