Senior Town Planner

A Senior Town Planner is required to join one of the UK's leading and most reputable consultancies within their industry. This role will be based in their Colchester office, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. Our client has an extensive list of completed and ongoing projects ranging from large-scale new build and refurbishment projects to small value design and construction work. With exciting projects in the pipeline this is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Town Planner to progress their career with a leading consultancy.

Assist team lead role for the Planning team.
Assist with programming resources and assigning workload.
Monitor own time/resource input for projects to ensure commercial success.
Provide high-level strategy advice to clients regarding their development proposals in relation to planning policy and feasibility.
Contribute to the Practice generally in terms of management, discipline development, business plan objectives etc.
Promote the work of the planning team through all IW's offices, to raise quality of planning work and provide clear definition of role and services.

Senior Town Planner Position Requirements

Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Have at least 5 years' experience in a senior role within a Planning Team
Have a broad range of sector experience, ideally with some retail planning experience
