Job Title: LEV Engineer.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £30k - £45k + Training + Benefits
We are currently recruiting for a renowned LEV / Clean Air company who have a leading presence in the North East of England. They are now seeking to take on a P601 qualified LEV Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out the installation, commissioning and testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems, and checking air flow rates across Manufacturing, Commercial, and Industrial sites. The successful candidate will also be able to confidently promote and upsell services to new and existing clients, as well as producing detailed reports and support based on site findings.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Gateshead, Consett, Hexham, Sunderland, South Shields, Tynemouth, Ashington, Morpeth, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Durham, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Middlesbrough.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P601 is essential.
" Proven track record of working in an engineering role for a reputable Clean Air / LEV company.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / COSHH guidelines.
" Organising workload efficiently.
" Communicating with colleagues and clients of all levels efficiently.
" IT literate.
The Role:
" Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing.
" Installing and commissioning of new LEV systems.
" Promoting and upselling company services to clients new and existing.
" Visiting site in line with client needs.
" Carrying out air flow checks on existing systems.
" Ensuring work complies with relevant Health and Safety / COSHH guidelines.
" Producing detailed reports based on site findings.
" Liaising with clients providing excellent support and advice.
