Connect have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our established client's team in Sunderland.
What's on offer? A full-time permanent position working week of, Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 17:00 - paid at £17.06 per hour, with overtime readily available.
Working as an Electrical Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Responsible for observing the drawing specifications, regulations and standards
Responsible for adhering to the set deadlines
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Pre-assembly of electrical components
Assembly of junction boxes
Cutting and pre-assembly of cables
Wiring of electrical harness, cables, components and junction boxes
Pre-assembly and wiring of switch cabinetsTo be successful within this Electrical Engineer role you will have a minimum of level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in electrical engineering. Combined with:
Comfortable and competent working at heights
Be willing to learn new skills
Overhead crane operator/slinging (or willing to learn)
Work overtime including weekend work when needed
Work using own initiative
