Role: Management Accountant
Package: Up to £38,000 + study support
Location: Trafford Park – Office based

Talent Accountancy & Finance are looking for a highly commercial Management Accountant to join an acquisitive business that offers a fantastic opportunity to develop & grow within the role whilst becoming a prominent figure in the Finance team.
The basic salary for this role is up to £38k + study support & is based out of the office in Trafford Park (M17).
The Role
Key responsibilities:
* Production & delivery of monthly Management Accounts along with additional performance reporting
* Preparation of weekly profit reporting identifying & explaining any variances in results across multiple departments
* Strong business partnering working closely & having a presence with Operational teams to ensure free flow of information to and from the rest of the business to ultimately aid accuracy of financial information
* Own weekly cashflow forecasting model – preparing & reporting weekly figures to key stakeholders
* Annual budget setting process – initially supporting FC with this, but eventually owning this process, working with other departments challenging, collaborating & testing figures
* Providing commentary to the Accounts, including variance & trend analysis
* Focus on continuous improvement across both the month end reporting & also processes/ways of working – aiming to add value and improve efficiencies
* Be visible in the business & one of the goto people in Finance for the wider business to contact
* Assist with annual audit
The Person
We are looking for someone highly ambitious, ready to back themselves in a commercial role that touches all functions of a business.
The successful person will need to be a confident communicator, someone who can come up with solutions and find ways to get buy in from colleagues and stakeholders alike with a continuous improvement mindset.
The role would most likely suit a PQ Management Accountant, or Assistant Management Accountant, who wants to fast track their experience & become a prominent figure in the Finance team
Experience with Sage 200 is also desirable experience!
Someone that is very positive, up for a challenge and has a can-do attitude & approach to their work will fit in well here
