Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading player in the Asbestos industry, holding a national presence and longstanding clients across Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Retail, Social Housing and Healthcare sites. They are now looking to take on qualified and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover various site across the North West region. The client has multiple positions available and is happy to receive applications from both asbestos surveyors and asbestos analysts, as well as, those who are dual qualified. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into various environmental sectors, company vehicle, company pension and excellent holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Manchester, Rochdale, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Buxton, Crewe, Chester, Liverpool, Birkenhead, St Helens, Bolton, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
" Will have experience working across a mixed portfolio of sites for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Confident using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Able to communicate efficiently.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Carrying out smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" 4 stage clearances.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 / 248 guidelines.
" Carrying out onsite audits.
" Gathering information from site and producing detailed, comprehensive reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
