We are currently working in partnership with a 3 form entry primary school in the Bold Heath area of St Helens to recruit a dynamic and motivated KS1 teacher in primary education.
The school needs someone who can undertake and raise target grades for a KS1 mixed class with some SEN additional needs.

Experienced and ECT teachers will be considered for the role, with the potential to receive ECT mentoring and support from the school.

Candidates should be able to interview within the next few weeks.

The school is located in a unique catchment area with disadvantaged and affluent pupils in attendance. The SLT teams had worked hard with teaching staff to promote proactive behaviour management policies and raise behaviour within the school. The schools have also seen great success with raising reading ages as a holistic measure and Sat's scores throughout the last academic year.

The school is located in the central area of St Helens with excellent travel links.

You will be working in a community centred school in St Helens which prides itself on enabling exploration and creating unique opportunities to learn. The school is located in a leafy area of St Helens with good links to Liverpool, Manchester and surrounding areas. The school runs a variety of sports and enrichment clubs to promote mental and physical wellbeing. You will be expected to immerse yourself in all aspects of the KS1 curriculum, planning and delivering lessons to identify gaps in curriculum knowledge. You will work in a friendly and warm environment and be part of a close and supportive team.

Your new role.
Your new role will see you working across English, Maths and Science lessons at KS1. You will be expected to immerse yourself in the school calendar and attend / run parent's evenings, after-school clubs, supervise / direct teaching assistants, modify curriculum as necessary, complete day to day / midterm lesson planning. You will be expected to differentiate the curriculum and provide intervention sessions to bridge gaps in attainment. You will be expected to build effective working relationships quickly and manage assessment / target data for the academic year.

What you'll need to succeed.

To be considered, you must have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS)
- Experience working in Key Stage 1 (KS1)
- Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility
- Be up-to-date with curriculum
- Highly motivated and driven to exceed expectations
- Up-to-date DBS preferred
- ECT's considered
