Teaching Assistant - Mornings Only Role
Do you want a long term position but not the full time hours? If so, we may have the role for you.
Randstad is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work 5 mornings a week (20 hours) from May 2024. The school you will be working at is located in St Helens and easily accessible by public transport, car and railway. You will be expected to assist the class teacher with day to day tasks and work with small groups of pupils to do interventions as and when required.
Requirements:
You must have current experience working in a Primary school setting
Be confident in your ability to work within different classrooms and with pupils with varying needs.
Be part of the team and be flexible when requiredTo register for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
Have a flexible, can-do approach
All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
