Inside Construction have been appointed to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a specialist subcontractor based in Stockport. The company is going from strength to strength and has a strategy for continued growth. The role
The main purpose of the role is to assistant in the financial delivery of multiple projects. It is the Quantity Surveyors responsibly to ensure projects are procured and delivered within budget – seeking to minimise costs and ensure legal regulations are adhered to.
You will be assisting with the following key responsibilities.
* Multiple project cost control and reporting
* Payment application
* Valuations and final accounting
* Measure progress and variations
* Issuing notices of the contract
* Liaising with operations site team and other stakeholders within the business – building strong relationships
* Material procurement
The person
This opportunity would suit an ambitious graduate or undergrad who’s close to completing their studies – BSc in Quantity Surveying (sponsorship available). Full training and support will be given. Applicants with subcontractor experience would be advantageous but other industry experience will also be considered.
