Traffic Engineer
Role Overview
The Client's Network Management Team is seeking a qualified and experienced Traffic Engineer to support ongoing Network Management projects. The primary focus will be on completing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) for capital programme legacy schemes, including TCAP, MCF, Markets, and Underbanks. This role will involve both new developments and amendments to existing TROs and Moving Traffic Regulation Orders.
Key Responsibilities

Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) Design and Advisory:
Advise on and design TROs to support Network Management projects.
Provide expertise in the development and amendment of TROs and Moving Traffic Regulation Orders for various capital programme schemes.

Technical Proficiency:
Utilize AutoCAD, Keyline, and Keysign to create and modify traffic management drawings and plans.
*
Project Support:
Offer TRO processing support for schemes within the Client’s 2024/2025 capital programme.
Assess existing moving traffic regulation orders and produce related technical reports.
Qualifications and Experience
*
Education:
Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent time-served experience in traffic engineering.

Experience:
Demonstrable experience in developing and amending TROs and Moving Traffic Regulation Orders.
Proven track record in supporting capital programme schemes and network management initiatives.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keyline, and Keysign is essential.Strong understanding of traffic management principles and regulations.
