MERJE is looking for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join a leading company in the insurance industry. Salary This role is based in Warrington and offers hybrid working with one day per week working from home.

The Company

This company is a leading insurance provider, offering high-quality services to a range of clients including insurance companies, motor manufacturers, fleet managers, and private clients. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, this company has grown organically and invested heavily in training and development. They are seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their growing team in Warrington.

The Role

The Motor Claims Handler will be responsible for handling motor claims on behalf of the company's Broker Claims Teams. The role involves identifying potential clients that would benefit from the company's in-house claims services, utilising liability assessment skills and assessing individual client suitability. The successful candidate will provide a claims handling service by acting as first point of contact for clients, reporting and recording details of new motor incidents and submitting the FNOL to the clients relevant motor insurer and broker, liaising with insurers, repairers and other agents, and promoting the company's in-house claims services to clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Motor Claims Handler:

Handle motor claims on behalf of the Broker Claims Teams
Identify potential clients that would benefit from the company's in-house claims services
Provide a claims handling service by acting as first point of contact for clients
Report and record details of new motor incidents and submit the FNOL to the clients relevant motor insurer and broker
Liaise with insurers, repairers and other agents
Required knowledge and experience for the Motor Claims Handler role:

Remains positive and enthusiastic when dealing with difficult people

Knowledge of Proclaim is an advantage
