Plasterer

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Plasterer to work with a Derby-based Local Authority on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri).

Main Duties:

* To undertake all plastering repairs, maintenance and renovations identified within the housing stock, schools and public buildings.

* To carry out new plaster works to both internal and external surfaces.

* To remove and apply ceramic tiles to kitchens and bathroom.

* To lay and / or repair kitchen and bathroom flooring.

* By using your own initiative, resolve were practical any minor or routine technical difficulties on site, liaising with your management as required.

* To maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that service efficiency is achieved.

* Work within an appointment system including liaising with customers

* To submit all worksheets and documents relating to job (electronically or by paper) within the required timescales.

Essential Criteria:

* NVQ Level 2 Plastering or equivalent.

* UK Driver’s license

Desirable Criteria:

* Previous experience within a Local Authority/Local Housing
