Assurance & Compliance Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Location: Tonbridge, Southeastern area

One of our expanding established clients are currently offering an amazing salary package for a Assurance & Compliance Manager to join their successful and growing team and manage project compliance in relation to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001, Safety Certificate / Principal Contractors Licence and Network Rail and RSSB standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and inspire a team of Quality Engineers to uphold a culture of Right First Time through stakeholder engagement and site visits.

* Develop and implement proactive quality assurance measures in collaboration with Engineering teams to meet client specifications and maintain high standards.

* Oversee compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements, while managing audit regimes and external assessments.

* Analyze performance indicators to identify trends and implement improvement plans, updating the Integrated Management System accordingly.

* Assist in evaluating subcontractor compliance and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Experience needed.

* Hold an ISO9001 Internal Auditor Qualification.

* Possess experience in Quality Engineering, particularly within rail/construction. Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve performance in Engineering/Construction settings.

* Skilled in crafting quality management plans and overseeing inspection/testing plans. Hands-on audit experience.

* Proficient in Engineering documentation and knowledgeable about Network Rail and RSSB standards.

* Experienced in root cause analysis techniques like 8D, Ishikawa, and 5Whys.

* Proficient in MS Office applications.

* Strong data analysis skills with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

* Hold a full driving licence.
