Marc Daniels are recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to join a large, well-known Company Based in High Wycombe.
If you would have the skillset to develop a standardised approach to cost accounting postings and processes whilst also implementing new processes and improving appropriate controls. , this role would be perfect for you!
Assist with the preparation of month end accounts to meet internal reporting deadlines.
Assist in the development of financial controls, processes, and disciplines.
Support the Head of Divisional Accounting in ongoing monitoring and improvements to the control environment.
Challenge to Divisional finance teams on appropriate accounting treatment to ensure all postings are compliant with accounting standards and principles.
Assist in planning and team resource allocation.
Preparation & review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Drive the introduction of new working practices to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide required outputs.
Liaise with Divisional & Group FBPs on process improvements and future development requests.
Person Specification:
Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Proven track record of building excellent working relationships with senior leaders of a large sized business
Strong system skills including advanced Excel and Power BI
Management accounting experience
