We are working with an inspiring young, clean-tech manufacturing business to recruit a Procurement Specialist to support the building out of the supply chain in their continued growth. This is a great opportunity to become part of an innovative and passionate team.
Key responsibilities:
Support procurement strategy implementation
Develop, improve and manage procurement processes, including supporting Goods-in/out, Inventory, and ERP system development.
Identify new suppliers to source the best products in terms of value, delivery schedules, sustainable practice and quality.
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities from RFI/ RFQ through to contract signature and supplier performance review.
Collaborate with the wider business as the main contact for all commercial supplier issues.
Analysis of spend data, reporting and identification of costs saving opportunities.
Qualifications & experience:
Procurement experience in a related manufacturing field, preferably automotive manufacturing knowledge.
Strong negotiation skills.
Commercial and financial awareness including strong analytical abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Ability to travel to meet with suppliers as required.
Experience with an industry standard ERP system.
