Excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor to join a well-established and reputable dealership based in Canterbury

As the first point of contact for all aftersales customers, a helpful and welcoming manner ensures a good first impression. Whilst the day gets busier, you will need to be able to keep calm under pressure, listen carefully to instruction, and follow procedures thoroughly and accurately.

Working collaboratively in a small but efficient team, you will be handling a multitude of tasks throughout the day with professionalism and diligence.

Service Advisor duties include:

* Working face-to-face with customers within the Retailer

* Handling calls to the Retailer, including booking and scheduling vehicle services and repairs

* Estimating time and costs associated with vehicle services and repairs.

* Being involved with interpreting initial client concerns and liaising with the vehicle technicians

* Liaising with clients and keeping them updated of any additional work that may be required.

* Tracking client’s vehicles through the workshop during service and repair.

* Advising clients on how to solve problems with their vehicles.

Continuing to build a strong rapport with our existing and loyal customer base, you will also provide an exceptional customer experience for customers who are new to our business.

Skills Required:

Experience in this role is not essential as full training will be given. You will need to be able to listen carefully to instructions, whilst taking constructive criticism in a positive light, showing an eagerness to learn. You will need the ability to ask questions, be self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail.

Utilising your strong communication skills, you work with determination to not only meet, but exceed, departmental targets in sales and customer care. Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service is your highest priority throughout each day, in person, via email and over the phone, taking incoming calls promptly and making outgoing calls effectively.

You will be computer literate, with the ability to learn new software and programmes. Your strengths will include numeracy and literacy and you must have a clean driver’s licence.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, plus first Saturday of the month 8am - 2pm.
