Are you a skilled Business Intelligence Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the public sector? Our client, a prominent public sector organisation based in Croydon, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team.
As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving data quality, performance management, and business intelligence initiatives within the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective business intelligence solutions using tools such as Power BI. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate data modelling and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and deployment of business intelligence solutions using Power BI, NEC, Excel and other relevant tools
Developing and implementing business intelligence strategies and roadmaps to drive organisational performance within the housing directorate
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing effective data governance practises.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reports.
Oversee the performance management process, including setting targets, measuring performance, and reporting on key metrics.
Manage a team of data analysts, providing leadership, guidance, and support to maximise their potential.Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector, working with large datasets and complex databases
Strong proficiency in Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehouse concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £57,000 - £59,000 per year, reflective of their skills and experience. They will also have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
