The Role

Due to growth and success at BES Group, a fantastic opportunity is now available for qualified commercial electrical test engineer to join our team in Reading.

As Electrical Test Engineer you will undertake electrical fixed wire testing in commercial and small industrial properties.

£37,528 plus bonus, OTE £55,000 to £60,000

What you will be doing 

You will perform high quality electrical testing

You will work to BS7671 standards ensuring implementation and compliance of policies and procedures.

You will be expected to carry out electrical condition reporting, inspection and testing to the highest of standards.

You will understand the importance of Health and Safety and follow procedure.

You will attend our Toolbox Talks monthly training sessions.

You will accurately record electrical documentation using both our CRM system and reporting software.

You will liaise with our customers and members of our supply chain.

What you’ll have

You will demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues.

You will have a flexible approach to working and will be willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods.

You will be a conscientious Electrician that takes satisfaction from delivering a great service.

NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365

City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent

Good level of computer literacy

Full driving licence held for 12 months (Minimum)

18th edition ideally - however, 18th edition and asbestos awareness courses can be offered at our in-house training centre.
