Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Biased)
Location: Oxford Circus (London)
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 Per annum
Role Purpose: To attend to and complete maintenance engineering tasks related to reactive, planned and chargeable works throughout site.

To provide technical support in relevant designated discipline(s) including Competent Person duties.
When required, to liaise with specialist sub-contractors and obtain relevant quotes to complete works.
To be responsible for delivering reactive and planned maintenance works. The delivery of these works will be through the utilisation of core skills and competencies of the individual engineer, with those tasks raised aligned to the skillset available. As part of the role, there will also be core duties to escort sub-contractors across the sites, so that any tasks requiring specialist involvement can be undertaken within the parameters of the site's requirements.

It will be the engineer's key responsibility, to ensure that the work assigned to them, is undertaken within the SLA or updated swiftly if a contractor is required. The maintenance engineer will be accountable for the works assigned to them, and it is their duty to undertake all tasks using the mobile device correctly and in real time.
The engineer role will also ensure that they adhere to all Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) including in line with assigned Risk Assessments and Method Statement provided by provider. The role holder will be the first image of provider and must always be an ambassador for the company through being well presented with great customer service and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
To provide technical support in relevant designated discipline(s) including Competent Person duties.
To oversee and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance in line with the PPM schedule, including ensuring Specialist Contractors attend and complete their work to the required standards.
When required, to liaise with specialist sub-contractors and obtain relevant quotes to complete works.
To identify required materials and liaise with designated suppliers to obtain quotations for approval.
Responsibility for all works assigned to them through CAFM, being accountable for the attendance to each task within the SLA and providing any updates in a swift/concise manner, where tasks cannot be completed.
Effectively communicate to the Contract Manager or Contract Support, on any tasks that may have a critical or business impact to either the company or to the site.
Utilisation of the mobile working device, ensuring that all times are captured correctly for each task, alongside providing detailed notes in the comments section.
To act as an escort for any contractors coming to site, and on behalf the management team
Provision of quotes, with all costs for materials, being provided to the Contract Manager or Contract Support, ready for submission/approval.
Ensure that all maintenance tasks that are carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems, meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
Carry out fault identification/rectification and escalation when required on fabric issues, and M&E systems such as electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues.
Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
A high level of initiative, in ensuring that proactive maintenance is undertaken or supported.
A smart presentable uniformed appearance, with presenting the company in a professional manner
Advanced communication skills with a full understanding of customer needs & expectations.
Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions.
To work in line with the company Values and exceptional pillars
To ensure prompt and timely attendance to ensure hand over with previous shift is carried out.
To carry out shift handovers are carried out between prior and next shifts, detailing any site issues.
To assist in covering shifts for absence/holiday for the opposite shift team.

Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client requirements.
To have a good understanding of key personnel of the client staff.
To have a good knowledge of company safe systems of work.
To have basic IT skills.
To have good basic Knowledge throughout maintenance trades incl. Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric skills with a minimum of City and Guilds (or NVQ) at Level 3, within a trade discipline.
 Good problem-solving abilities.
