We here at SENCare Recruiment are looking to for a learning support assistant to come and work at a Hair and Beauty Academy in West London to support one of our learners on a fixed term contract.
Please see below overview:-
* LSA must be resilient and be comfortable working in a hair and beauty environment college.
* Can be either Male or Female. Must have experience working with post 16 learners who have SEMH, Mental Health and ASD.
* Learner is a 19 year old who requires more of a mentor to support him through his Level 2 Barbering course.
* He takes time to trust someone and does not like change.
* Learner is very set in his ways and needs someone who can guide him but also explain to him when something has challenged him.
* He needs someone who can assist him during break times
* He is extremely vulnerable and does not pick up on social cues or tongue in cheek comments.
* Learner does not notice other peoples emotions and will make comments without realizing the impact it has on others.
Hours
Every Tuesday, Wenesday and Thursday 9:30am – 4:30pm.
This position is term time only and is fixed term until end of July 2024.
