About the Role

Join our Assessment Service team, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting families. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough child and family assessments and section 47 enquiries to evaluate needs and risks.
Formulating SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) plans for children under Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) statuses.
Ensuring high standards of professional practice through regular supervision and adherence to best practices.
Focusing on the safety and well-being of children through diligent assessment, intervention, and monitoring.Your work will contribute significantly to improving the outcomes for vulnerable children and families within our community.

About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

A relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar setting.
The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to complex social work issues.
Resilience and adaptability in managing a dynamic caseload under pressure.
