Job Title: HGV Class 2 Pallet Delivery Driver
Job Description:
We are looking for a HGV Class 2 Pallet Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently transport palletized goods to our clients' destinations. As a crucial part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Palletized Goods Transport: Load, transport, and unload palletized goods using a Class 2 HGV vehicle in a safe and secure manner.
Delivery Schedule: Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes, ensuring on-time deliveries and adherence to deadlines.
Vehicle Inspection:Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery notes, and logbooks.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and representing our company positively.
Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and following company safety policies.
Problem Resolution: Handle and report any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving license.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
