Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter candidate from a builders merchant background on behalf of their well established client in Feltham. This is a full-time role and a great opportunity to join a well established business with impressive growth plans.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm & 1 Saturday on 1 off 7:00am to 11:30am
Salary: £27k to £30k per annum
This role involves:
processing orders
serving customers face to face over the trade counter
building rapport with customers
keeping store stocked and presentable
answering inbound calls from customers and suppliers
supporting the yard operatives as and when needed
providing product information
bringing on new business and lapsed business
helping customers with product and quantity amounts required for their specific jobs when needed
The successful candidate will have/be:
previously worked within a trade counter position within a builder’s merchant environment
excellent customer service (inbound calls, emails and face to face)
comfortable building rapport with customers face to face and over the phone
reliable and trustworthy
looking to progress grow within the company
fluent English speaking, reading and writing
computer literate
a team player and will have the ability to work on own initiative
